The Orb of Calenture:

When House Calenture dusted off the keys to the locked portals as the first house re-opened in the dream, Kelrith dug into the past to find the Ancient Orb of Calenture, and gave it's keeping to Darkel. The orb has the ability to banish nightmares.

The Orb was forged before Great Loss by Master Zordon and the Forgers Circle. It was later discovered that Zordon's apprentice, Dis, was imprisoned within the Orb at the time of its conception. Dis now serves as House Lyran to House Calenture.

The Sceptre of Light:

Demetria, a FateSender, was the first ruler of Dreamers of Light. She was sometimes ruthless towards her goals and convictions. After Dreamer's of Light was initially opened, Demetria romanced a master dreamsmith, and convinced him to forge a weapon and symbol of her position as Ruler of Light.

He created for her a Sceptre measuring between two and two and a half feet in length, a symbol of DoL crowning it, another foot long. It was named the "Sceptre of Light" and served as both a weapon and for house ceremonies. She once used the Sceptre to attack a Free Spirit debater as she didn't appreciate criticism on House beliefs. It was borne by many over the years, and at one point risked dissolution in battle, where a constant vigil of recharge secured it.

Valourin describes the Sceptre as being "made of Solid light, it is a melee weapon capable of inflicting a damage of seven-twelve, or seven-fifteen DreamSoul... its intense light caused its opponents to be blinded. It can only be weilded by Fatesenders."

Following the Great Loss, when Dreamers of Light was opened once again, the Sceptre was discovered in its dusty vaults by Mithrander. Valourin was the recipient of the Sceptre upon its re-discovery, and has the distinction of being the first to employ its powers since the Great Loss. The Sceptre is now Kept by Brain.

Corrupter of Souls:

The Corrupter was said to have been forged by a mad dreamsmith in the dark days of the Dreamer's wars. Long ago when House Calenture and Dreamers of Light were the only open houses, Kelrith pulled the corrupter back into the dream from the chaos for unknown reasons. Kelrith vowed to eliminate the corrupter from the dream, claiming that it had the power to transform dreamers into nightmares. By introducing the Corrupter to the Dream again, Kelrith released one of the first, and indeed the most dastardly of the dark mares into the dream: Tehthu.

Tehthu ravaged the dream and took Ariana captive, and finally, after the first defeat of Tehthu, and the rescue of Ariana, the ancient Dreamwright Aprilic volunteered to sacrifice himself to save the Dream from Tehthu. The Corrupter was to be bound with the essences of Aprilic and Tehthu by the Dreamer's Stone, and banished with the Orb of Calenture.

However, Kelrith did not banish the genuine essense of Tehthu, his work with the corrupter was said to lead to insanity. Because of this, the Corrupter remains in the dream, Tehthu free from it, and Aprilic imprisoned within. Tehthu grows stronger the longer he remains unfettered. The question of whether Kelrith has ever recovered from his corruption remains unanswered.

The Codex of Immortal Dreams:

Before the Great Loss, Dreamstrike infected the dream until the Council of Elders called an end to it by shattering the knowledge of Dreamstrike into nine pieces: one for each house and one for the Free Spirits. The Lyran Statx, a mute and a Seeker, appeared occasionally to give hints as to location of the fragments, and an explaination of what they were. The last appearance of Statx has been to PoR in the finding of Kenta's Light.

If these pieces are ever reassembled, and the Binder present to bring them together, they will bring with them the power of Dreamstrike. All of the fragments are different talismans: artifacts, alterors, unlimited elements, weapons. Thusfar Snowblind is Keeper of the Binder, OosM holds the alterors of Aprilic (the FrS piece, an unlimited resilience alteror) and Denak; PoR holds kenta's light, a blind blade; DoL holds the Alterors of Kelrith (the OosM peice) and Jenak. The remaining peices remain scattered in the chaos, until Statx returns again.

The Soul of Radiance:

Upon the opening of the Protectors of Radiance, Tybarian conspired with his secret wife, Sabra, and sacrificed his life to bring the Soul of Radiance into being. Following this ritual, Tyberian's Soul appeared to guide the House of Protectors.

The DreamSeer Training Blade:

Following the First Tournament of the Sphere, Kelrith, declaring the fighting skills of the participants inadequate, forged four blades "from bundles of laths which were bound with the strongest of cords, each to last for all eternity." One training blade was created for use by a member of each focus. Carnach was granted the SoulMaster Training Blade, Snowblind the DreamSeer Training Blade, the other two granted quietly. When Luinitari stepped up to rulerhood of the Order of the Sable Moon, he inherited the DreamSeer blade.

The purpose of the blades was to serve as an infinite practice tool while causing minimal damage. It is a Melee weapon with no effect, save a damage of a single DreamSoul. It cannot be used from great distances; and only operates when within dueling range. It appears like any average sword, save for the name "Training Blade"

Sabra's Journal:

Upon Sabra's death by Yog-ka's hand, she dropped her journal, which was then picked up by a young HC initiate, Reagans. Reagans told The Kestrel, then Guardian of the house, and the two brought them to security in HC and began studying them. Their possession of the journals remained secret until the Lyrans declared Reagans Keeper of the Journal.

The Journal was an Element of Infinite Insight. It was not a prime artifact. It bore the inscription: "This is of stories and histories written in Sabra's hand. It contains any knowledge she knew. Unfortunately, the book is old and tattered and it is barely readable in places. It sparks the imagination, gives life to the mundane and provides insight to the dream." It contained everything Sabra had learned, but it was very old and impossible to read.

Reagans later learned he could use the journal to help restore Sabra to the dream. Using it, he brought Sabra back and returned her journals. Sabra awarded Reagans with an element of infinite lucidity for keeping the book safe. This journal has helped restore Sabra's memories.

The Sceptre of Souls:

The Sceptre of Souls was created by research done by Sanctus of the Guardians of Soul. Decifering a riddle, a stalactite was taken from the Cavern of Tears, whereupon each SoulMaster inscribed a symbol, brought it to Fayd's Fortress to the pool, where Resilliance was showered upon it and the chaotic forces of the pool sealed it. The Sceptre could only be held by one pure of heart.

Following its Creation the sceptre was stolen by Tykoth in the form of Soultheif. After a long chase by the City Guard and The Guardians of Soul, the Sceptre was returned. Most recently, it was used to aid in the creation of the Serpent's Blade.

The Serpent's Blade:

By the grace of AoE and OosM, the Guardians of Soul researched the ritual to the reforging of the Serpent's blade, the blade constructed of four resillience shards. The body to form the pommel of that in the head of a serpent; The tounge is a two pronged guard, the hilt if the blade, The Eye; The eye rests in the head of the snake on the handle, The Fangs are the blade itself. Taken to the Cenotaph of Dread, the shards were heated; in the Ring of passage molded to place, then to the Waterhole in Threshold Pits to cool.

Kumari arrives

However, the last shard not in their possession, The Gaurdians of Soul employed the Sceptre of Souls to substitute the lack of the Fourth Piece of the blade. Haleth Dagore was first to lift the burning blade, which seared his hands and for which Kumari, newly introduced to the Post-Great Loss Dream and the original forger of the blade, was called forth to release Haleth of the burden. Unfortunately, the blade's corruption resulted in Kumari's corruption, and following a battle, Kumari took the blade, and is said to not regain his full sanity until the last true piece of the blade is placed. Kumari later returned the blade to the Guardians of the Soul so that it could be used in constructing the true blade.

Included is an early advertisement written by the Guardians of Soul calling for Dreamwide help in their purpose:

The Staff of Bonding*:

"The staff is approximately 3 feet long and made of gold. It has a large heart shaped ruby, about the size of an adult's palm embedded in the top. This being held in place by the miniature figurines of male and female avatars that look like they are reaching around the stone to try and touch hands with each other." ~Lissa~

The purpose of the Staff of Bonding was to combine two souls into one. Balthiir agreed to employ the Staff in the marriage of Lissa and Gunny, unaware that the Staff had been damaged in the Chaos since the Great loss. However, by calling forth the power of the Staff, Balthiir caused it to shatter into five pieces and fade into the chaos, while Lissa and Gunny found that instead of joining, their souls had switched avatars. These are the descriptions of the Shards:

Willpower Crystal: Gold coloured, a prime artifact with no charges. Inscribed with "Stand with protective strength, guarding and defending your love, together as one"

Insight Crystal: Night coloured, a prime artifact with no charges. Inscribed with "Build new dreams together with combined love for one another, give others the vision to see the truth of its power."

Resilience Crystal: Sand coloured, a prime artifact with no charges. Inscribed with "Heal each others wounded hearts and nurture that love which is freely given to one another"

Lucidity Crystal: Beige coloured, a prime artifact with no charges. Inscribed with "Love honestly, with no illusions and you will stand together always without doubt or fear"

Dreamsoul Crystal: Blood coloured, a prime artifact with no charges. Inscribed with "Shield your souls with love for one another, and know that when it seams all is lost, there will still be your love to see you through."

The Chaos Ring:

Yog-ka dropped this item after his execution. Cygne retrieved it, unknowing of its powers. Cygne held it in secret for a short while before entrusting it's keeping to Ghazgkull. Ghazgkull promised to never give it to another who might abuse it, but the death essence of Yog-ka that he held, along with the ring, combined to prepare his avatar for corruption by the Dread One.

Yog-Ka's Execution

In this state Ghazgkull lured Lissa and Gunny's child, Reh'Dak, to the Sunroof Cavern, and tried to help prepare his form for possession by the Dread One. Finally, after wresting the Chaos Ring from Ghazgkull, he was able to return to a normal state. House Calenture now has both possession of the Chaos Ring, and of Yog-ka's death essence.
