I think I needs give a message on just what has occurred to date. I shall relate what I have discovered as far.

A while back, the Dreamer Dena entered the Chaos with the intent of finding the soul of an old Dreamer by the name of Fayd, as well as seeking knowledge on the Chaos. Whether or not Dena was successful is a matter of debate, for she returned in an extremely confused state.

From what I have gathered, Dena had for a long time reacted the opposite of what was done/shown to her. If one acted nicely to Dena, she reacted with hostility. If one was hostile to Dena, she reacted with kindness. She also wrote codexes; most dreamers could not understand her writing. A few, including me, do; unfortunately, the messages do not help us as they are nonsense.

Slowly, Dena sank even deeper into madness. Eventually Dena started spending much time in a Rift, which was where I found her.

I had originally thought that the only method of saving Dena's damaged soul was for another to sacrifice themselves; while this would not have quelled the chaos, it would give me time to discover a method. This was a totally egotistical idea of mine; I did not think, back then, that the Dream could hold the knowledge that could not only aid Dena, but also be a more viable alternative than the death of another dreamer.

That is where we are now. I am seeking this alternative method, should one exist. One dreamer has said that the one known as Vodalus may be able to aid me in this. Others may be able to aid; that is why I have been casting about for those with the knowledge.

However, time is limited. I can only maintain Dena's soul for three more days until my powers are depleted...

Which brings me to a decision. Those who have come forward to sacrifice themselves for Dena's sake, I thank you... but I must refuse. After talking to others, I have come to the conclusion that your paths do not lead to this. I will try to find others...
